Caroline Wang Gierløff is presently completing a PhD in Environmental and Resource Economics at the School of Economics and Business at the Norwegian University of Life Sciences (NMBU). She holds a Master’s degree in Development and Resource Economics from the same institution and a Bachelor in Economics from the University of Oslo.
The main focus of Caroline’s research has been on the analysis and evaluation of environment and resource-related projects, on incentives used in connection with public policy instruments and compensation contracts, and on relative efficiency analysis. She has also conducted economic experiments. In the course of her work, she has employed a broad specter of different tools for economic analysis, including both theoretical and quantitative methods.
