Henrik Lindhjem holds a PhD in environmental and natural resource economics (NMBU, Norway) and two Master’s degrees in economics (Oslo, Norway) and environment and development (Cambridge, UK). He has more than 20 years of experience from economic analysis of environmental, health and climate policies and natural resource management, non-market valuation of public goods, cost-benefit analysis and impact assessments.
His experience spans a large number of countries, in the developing world especially in Asia and Africa. He is highly experienced in quantitative survey methods and data analysis. He also holds an adjunct academic research position at the Norwegian Institute for Nature Research (NINA), and reviews and publishes regularly in international journals (Google Scholar citations > 1600). He is experienced in working in interdisciplinary project teams, and has broad interests and knowledge within and outside economics. He was managing editor of the peer review journal of the Norwegian Association of Economists from 2011-13.
Henrik is Head of Research at Menon Centre for Environmental and Resource Economics.
