Serli Abrahamoglu has a B.A. in economics from Bogazici University in Istanbul and a M.Sc. in Business & Economics degree from Norwegian School of Economics with a major in economics. In her masters thesis she examined the gender wage gap and its relations to occupations, how it changes within and across occupations.
During her master’s studies she worked as a student assistant in econometrics and had an internship at the OECD Skills Centre in Paris. As an intern at the OECD she had the opportunity to work closely with data sources from big surveys like PISA, PIAAC, AES as well as preparation of statistical illustrations for related OECD publications.
