PhD candidate (University of Life Sciences and MERE)
Anders Dugstad is an economist and currently employed as a PhD research fellow within economics at the Norwegian University of Life Sciences (NMBU). His research revolves around economic valuation of marine and coastal ecosystem services in Norway, where he takes part in the research projects WINDLAND, MarES and Coast-Benefit. Professor Ståle Navrud at NMBU is his supervisor. Anders recently completed his master’s degree in economics at NMBU, where he specialized within environmental and resource economics. In his master thesis, Anders triangulated with benefit transfer techniques and performed a contingent valuation study of Norwegian households’ willingness to pay to preserve the Amazon rainforest.
